Regular events and places you might find us

There are a few times a year where we are requested to attend regular events, either as a repair person or a spokesperson. Some are annual, some are monthly, but either way we try to help out as best we can for those who want to learn or want to find out more. 

Animazement - ANNUALLY

Annually on Memorial Day weekend, one of our long-attending conventions comes to downtown Raleigh. That convention is Animazement, and is fairly awesome and a mad-house of people running around having fun and causing mayhem! 

After a few years of attending, Haus Page received a booth, and sold wares. Seeing as I wasn't doing much else, I would usually bring my toolkit and a few machines to work on. A few people saw me working in a corner and asked for repairs to their cosplay or props, and I happily obliged. 

This past May in 2018, we had a dedicated booth and repaired roughly 350-400 cosplays and props in the span of a weekend. We have been told that our booth will be a staple for as long as we're willing to participate! 

Sewing GUild - As Requested

Every month or so, my wife, and fellow owner of Haus Page, goes off to work with the local Sewing Guild to work on philanthropic projects, or just to sit and work with other people of like mind. 

​Sometimes I am brought along with my skills as a mechanic to work on peoples machines, or give little talks on their Care and Feeding. Any of these events are usually posted online, but you can follow the Haus Page Facebook page for more details.
